David Keller is the President of Keller National, a full service independent insurance agency focusing on auto, home, life, business Insurance as well as group benefits. David is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and currently serves on the alumni committee. In addition to this, David serves on the Board of Directors for the Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of commerce. In his free time, David coaches youth hockey and runs adult learn to play hockey clinics.
John Horvath – Vice President
John serves as a Trustee of the IBNO. He started his insurance career at Neverman Insurance Agency as a Producer in 2006. In 2016 he became the Owner and President of Neverman Insurance Agency where he oversees the day to day operations. He is a firm believer of Agency’s working together to promote and advance the independent agency channel. The IBNO is an organization that helps independent agencies to do that locally. John and his wife, Becky Neverman-Horvath, have three fun loving daughters and live in Avon, Ohio.
Marie Curtis – Secretary
Marie serves as the Secretary of the IBNO and is an active member of the Social committee. Marie has been the Territory Sales Manager for AAA Insurance (Auto Club Group-MI) since 2011. She manages one of the distribution channels – IAs (Independent Agents) – for the entire state of Ohio. The thing that she loves most about her job is her relationships with her IAs – and helping them grow their AAA book of business. When she’s not working Marie loves to spend time with her family – especially her two children Nicholas and Christina – and their dog, Sammi (beautiful rescue dog). Marie’s favorite hobbies include cooking/baking, entertaining, writing (hopes to publish a book one day), wineries, sporting events and concerts.
Tim Hrobat – Treasurer
Tim Hrobat serves as a Treasurer and social chair for the IBNO. Tim, along with the rest of his committee, work hard to plan fun events such as the golf outing, clambake and holiday party. These events are designed to help promote the mission of the IBNO of Professional Development, Collaboration and Charitable Giving. Tim is the President and second generation owner of the Vince Hrobat Insurance Agency. He is a firm believer in education and has earned his CIC and CRM designations. Tim lives in Fairview Park with his wife Julie of 29 years. In his spare time you can find him at the gym or on the golf course
Patrick Muscenti – Current Past President
Patrick serves as President of IBNO. As President, his main duty is to implement the plans of the board of trustees. He considers it an honor to promote and grow local agencies through education, networking, and professional development. Patrick spends his days working for McGowan Insurance as a Vice President, where he crafts insurance programs for business clients. Patrick is an avid reader and usually juggling three or four books at a time. If he is not working, you can typically find him at the gym or spending time with his American Bulldog, Porter.
Tanya Andolsen – Trustee
Tanya is a 25-year veteran of the environmental insurance industry, with years of experience at some of the most reputable organizations in the business.
She started her career at AIG Environmental as an underwriter and then ultimately the Cleveland regional manager, overseeing a team of several environmental risk analysts and loss control consultants. During her years at AIG, she worked alongside many industry leaders responsible for the development of fundamental coverages and underwriting guidelines that have been the building blocks in the environmental insurance market.
After 9 years at AIG, she moved to the brokerage side to become a national environmental resource for Wells Fargo Insurance Services (formerly Wachovia and Palmer & Cay).
In 2015 she joined Armada Risk Partners as Senior Vice President and Director of Environmental, where she expanded her portfolio to include Property & Casualty Team Leader.
Currently, Andolsen is the President of Argosy Risk Specialists, a wholesale insurance brokerage that partners with reputable retail brokers to offer guidance on how to best transfer unique or complex environmental risks. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Argosy is engaged as an adjunct team member, a consultant or an indirect advisor to help structure state of the art, creative and relevant environmental insurance programs for clients nationwide.
A native Clevelander, Tanya earned an MBA in International Business from Baldwin Wallace University, as well as a BSBA from John Carroll University, with a dual major in Logistics and Marketing and a minor in Communications.
Michael J. Bodnar – Trustee
Michael J. Bodnar, President and Owner of Gordon Tower Insurance Agency, has served on the IBNO Board in a wide variety of capacities for many years, including Past President, Vice President & Social Chair of IBNO. He has been successfully selling insurance as a licensed agent to a wide variety of customers for the past 31 years. As an Independent Agent, Michael feels the IBNO has served as a great sounding board to the many challenges that the insurance industry brings and who better to rely on than other agents that are experiencing similar challenges. Running an insurance agency is hard enough why isolate yourself on an island. The friends and camaraderie made throughout the years have been invaluable. Michael’s wife Mary also works along with Michael at the agency and is a licensed agent and a member of the IBNO. They spend their spare time on their boat Cool Runnins III and visiting their children in California, Chicago and Connecticut.
Jackie Gringle – Trustee
Jackie is the Vice President of IBNO and is a self-proclaimed insurance nerd. She has been in the business 17 years and is continuously learning new things about insurance daily, which is her favorite thing about it! Jackie has been the relationship manager at Zinc Insurance for the past three (3) years and previously has worked for carriers such as MAPFRE and American National. Jackie has been on the IBNO board of trustees for almost three (3) years and serves on the social committee. This committee puts on the annual golf outing and the now infamous, Clambake. She believes that networking with peers is going to be critical for the success of the IA channel in the future which is why she loves being part of such an amazing organization like the IBNO. Jackie has been married to Brian since 2005 and has three (3)O children: Carter (12), Regan (10) and Paisley (7). Their sports and activities plus work and planning events for the IBNO keep this girl busy.
Melissa Kahl – Trustee
Missy has been employed with Westfield Insurance since 2005. During her time at Westfield she has served as a Personal Lines Underwriter, Small Commercial Underwriter and is now the Agency Specialist for Ohio. Prior to working for Westfield she was employed by an independent insurance agency and has held her P&C license since 2000. Missy earned her Bachelor’s degree in business from The Ohio State University. She resides locally to Westfield Center with her husband and two sons.
Darlene Kirchner – Trustee
Darlene serves as Trustee of IBNO and is a member of the I-Day Committee. She was Vice President of the IBNO board for the 2018-2019 term. She has been a proud member of IBNO since 2005. Being an advocate for education, she is excited to promote professional development and networking opportunities for agency professionals and the emerging leaders in the insurance industry. Darlene joined Oswald Companies as a Client Manager providing risk management solutions in the Architects & Engineers Segment of the Design/Construction Unit. She is an AIA Allied National Member of the American Institutes of Architects and is pursuing her CPCU. Darlene has one son attending Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She resides in the “snow belt” of Chardon, Ohio and shovels her share of snow! She enjoys exploring New York State, boating, fishing, wineries, dancing, dog agility & training along with a passion for learning and performing remodeling/construction projects.
Scott Andrew Mills – Trustee

Married to Ann Marie since 1989 and have 4 children.
1 In Florida, 1 in Shaker Heights and 2 serving in the US Army, 1st LT and Captain.
I passed my Property & Causality and Life & Health license in 2002. I knew at some point I was going to be in the insurance business. In 2012 passed my series 6 and also certified in Flood and Long-Term Care.
I am a serial entrepreneur and have been self-employed most of my adult life. Prior to starting my agency in 2012 from scratch at the age of 49, I had a short stint with a bank and for almost 25 years was in the vehicle and equipment finance business. I have built my agency to over $1.5 mm in annual premium. My basic philosophy is “call them back”! I have learned that is what your clients really want.
Besides running my own P & C agency, I am also with Capital Planners a Lifetime Financial Growth company to be able to provide world class life insurance and investment products for my clients.
I have served in many roles for area non-profits included President, Event Chair, Membership, Treasurer and many other supporting roles.
In my spare time (not much of), I enjoying spending time with family & friends; yard work, riding my Harley and an occasional round of golf.
Nicolette Thomas – Trustee
Nicolette Thomas has been with the Platinum Restoration team going on nine years. As a Business Development Representative, Nicolette works with Insurance agents and adjusters to ensure their customers have the highest quality service and craftsmanship when it comes to cleanup and restoration jobs. By continuously fostering new and servicing existing relationships.
